Vietnam Part IV: Da Nang

It was time to travel to the south of Vietnam for the last part of our adventure however, before we continued our site seeing trip, we took 3 days to relax in Da Nang. After a fun week exploring Hanoi, Halong Bay and Hoi An, we were in need of some well deserved R & R. With a couple hours of drive from Hoi An, we arrived at our Da Nang resort and boy we were not disappointed!

Da Nang

We stayed at the Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort. A truly breathtaking place with service at it’s best. We didn’t leave the resort for 3 days as we had everything we needed. Our room was located along a hill top, with amazing views and a white sandy beach at the bottom. I guess having travelled around Vietnam, we experienced friendly, welcoming and service with personal touches, so we missed a little of that at this resort however the scenery and luxury made it for it!!

We even got to experience the most amazing Afternoon tea experience! Yes that’s right, I found high tea in Vietnam!! The pictures below do all the talking, and all I can say is- it was a big highlight of my time in Da Nang.

Our 3 days of relaxation flew by and it was time to make our way to Hoi Chi Minh City. We caught a short flight from Da Nang airport and arrived in Hoi Chi Minh with 2 full days to explore the city before we made our 22 hour flight back to New York!

Hi there, my name is Deepa Makwana and if you hadn’t guessed already, I LOVE all things food, travel and lifestyle. Since moving from London to New York, I have been wanting to write about my recipes and travel however I was a little afraid to share! But as my mother always says ‘if you don’t try, you will never know’. So I have finally decided to create my own little outlet on anything and everything involving things like where to eat, travels, home recipes, my fav home products or even the best shows I am watching! If I can help in any way – I have achieved my goal! Come on in and have a peak! DeepsMak x
